| | Saturday 01 November 2008 | | The Argent Beacon. | | | | There was another Scourge attack. This one in Stormwind, of all places. Hollie was in a small tavern, talking with Reshi Moonleaf about the invasions, when it started. They heard a scream coming from somewhere outside and both Elves quickly jumped up and ran out to see what was going on. Everyone was on edge, even the guards had been looking around, nervous looks showing across their faces. But now, they were trying to fight a member of the Scourge who was trying to attack a simple merchant. Hollie and Reshi lended the guards a hand, glad for their former military training.
Once the fight was over, with luckily no one seriously hurt, Hollie and Reshi started for the trade district. There they talked with some of the Argent healers who were on duty. They were told about how the Argent Dawn was trying to cover all cities and towns, trying to fight off the Scourge attacks that seemed to spring up in mere moments. The Argent Dawn did not have the numbers they needed for this and they were trying to recruit new members.
Hollie and Reshi talked about helping the Argent Dawn by setting up their own branch. They were hoping it'd help them, for they could recruit new members, had the means to travel to various locations and they had the ability to fight the Scourge and the knowledge to train others.
A small flight was made from Stormwind to the Eastern Plaguelands, where they asked for a quick meeting with some of the Argent Dawn. They gathered in the chapel and sat down at the wide table. Luckily they were met with a positive response and with salutes of respect; they left to Stormwind to register the new branch of the Argent Dawn: The Argent Beacon.
-OOC- The Argent Beacon is a heavy Role-Play guild, created by myself and Reshi. With the recent invasion, as well as Wrath of the Lich King coming out soon, we are going to be focusing on the fight against the Scourge. We have the guild already set up and ranks are in place. We are still working on getting our tabard and guild bank set up and also the website. Once those are in place, we will begin to recruit.
Also, there will be no required level. We've been asked how low levels will be able to be an active part of the guild and we have quite a few ideas for them. We also have no restrictions on race, class or profession.
We will focus on Role-Playing, making new friends and most of all, having fun. So if you are interested in learning more about the Argent Beacon or have any questions, please feel free to ask here or send Reshi or myself mail in-game.
